Hot Water Cylinder
Assessment
Your hot water cylinder can be the victim of corrosion
that can lead to a leak that may show itself on the
ceiling directly below where the cylinder is
positioned.
How can you avoid this?
Have an assessment to determine the condition of
your hot water cylinder and its components to avoid
the emergency call to the plumber when water is
dripping from the ceiling.
Hot Water Cylinder Failure
Here are some examples of hot water cylinder failure
that were identified before the leak could cause
damage to the fabric of the building.
Replacement work costs and loss of hot water
inconvenience were minimised because the leak
was dealt with in a timely manner without the
emergency call and immediate drain down and wait
for renewal.
It’s called planned preventative maintenance!
