Jersey Building Regulations include Oil Storage Tanks to ensure recognition and compliance with Part 3 Combustion Appliances and Fuel Storage Systems in consideration of the protection from fire and the prevention of oil pollution. All new and replacement Oil Storage Tanks are legally required to be notified to the Planning Department to ensure that the installation can be inspected by a Building Control Officer to establish full compliance with the Jersey Building Regulations.
